- --Axehandle 18:21, 3 January 2006 (GMT) Any possibility of putting up Lists of Scanned by Publisher?
- It would be very nice to have this list crossed referenced by publisher, I agree, all we need now is someone who is willing to do it. --Zog 23:12, 5 January 2006 (GMT)Zog
- i'm thinking of doing that but also with everything that isn't scanned yet. (and i do not care about being credited or not) --Coldkiller 14:13, 8 January 2006 (GMT)Coldkiller

- I find it interesting that the information here was very obviously taken from a popular scanned list known as THEList ... and yet I find no mention of that fact here. The creator of THEList has at least one copy of every scan on his list ... more than 80,000 unique scans. I very seriously doubt if those individuals here taking credit for his work can claim the same. --MilesTeg 04:58, 6 January 2006 (GMT)
- This list is from, as you say THEList, it has no credit of authorship attached to it, if it had then it would certainly have been added here. No one here has taken credit for this, the Internet being what is is, some people may wish to stay anonymous, this being a Wikipedia like site the creator or creators, are welcome to claim credit for this very helpful list of scanned comics. In fact it would of help if they would supply more input. --Zog 10:54, 6 January 2006 (GMT)Zog

- okay someone made the list but to be fair more people made such a list themselves you can say he did it or he did it. I also started a list myself back then but i didn't had time to finish it and thus stopped with it and i didn't even get every comic because i didn't had the space for it. And the person that made the list made it so that everybody could use it and enjoy it. And also the masterlist was created with lists of a lot of other peoples list --Coldkiller 11:26. 7 January 2006 (GMT)
- That's the point, CK. There are many, many different lists. You say you even started one yourself but "i didn't had time to finish it". THEList was begun in January of 2001 ... at very nearly the start of the comics scanning scene. It's creator has since spent almost every minute of free time he possessed accumulating, verifying, renaming, updating, adjusting and otherwise working toward the ultimate accuracy of THEList. A very few of us have helped with verification, error-correcting and scripting. With those exceptions, THEList is the work of one man. I personally can't imagine the hours it's taken. It's a HUGE body of work. That said, I find it incredibly disrespectful to that body of work to use it without any attempt at acknowledgement. Zog has said that if THEList contained "credit of authorship" it would have been included, but that's sophistry. Had the desire to acknowledge been there, the effort required to do so would have been negligible.--MilesTeg 22:59, 7 January 2006 (GMT)

- As far as updating the list, do you want people to edit the list to add new issues as we find them, post it here in this section, or are you just going to copy the updates from THEList as he does them?--Belladonna 00:11, 8 August 2006 (GMT)

[edit] Action Comics #1-250
Someone on Demonoid posted fills for issues 1-250. All old issues of this comic have now been scanned. I'm updating it now.
[edit] Detective Comics
Problem fixed. Updated with Demonoid scanned issues. Anyone know how to edit the wiki with Firefox without it chopping off pages? (If so, I'll update it occasionally too)
[edit] Spidey Super Stories
Someone on Demonoid posted the missing comics. This entire series is now scanned. Updating this now too.
[edit] Stray Bullets #39
We have Stray bullets #1-38, and #40, but I don't think we have #39.--Dym 05:12, 7 March 2006 (GMT)
- I'm going to take it off the list. I'm 80% sure it doesn't exist.--Dym 12:53, 9 March 2006 (GMT)
- Then you would be 80% wrong.--
- Great. Mind providing a link?--Dym 07:20, 10 March 2006 (GMT)
