Betty is almost exposed as a fraud when her date to a dance is revealed to be her cousin Jack, but she insists Biff will take her to the sorority beach party. Betty decides to run away, but her car has a flat. Biff shows up to help and they realise they were both too shy to speak to each other, so Betty gets her date after all.
