NOTE - DCM recommends you read this book as SPREADS to fully appreciate the text and illustrations as originally intended by the author.

Much like Newell's 'Hole Book', this children's book has a physical hole through the entire volume.

"the janitor’s mischievous son lights a rocket hidden in the basement of a towering building, a skyscraper by the era’s standards, and sends it blasting vertically upward. Each page depicts the ruckus the rocket creates as it rips through the twenty-one floors..."

Originally printed in 1912 by Harper & Brothers.
A product of its time it contains ethnic stereotypes.

Comment: This is really cool... but if you're reading it in spreads like DCM recommends, it's actually one page off because it's missing the blank inside front cover. So the descriptions on the right side (which really should be on the left) are describing the wrong picture. I strongly recommend replacing this scan with one that has a blank page added after the front cover.

Comment: Hmm. This is odd. I made sure the text always fell on the odd numbered pages so they would appear on the left if viewed as apreads.
