Comics Revue #1 premiered sometime in 1947. Succeeding issues reprinted UFS stalwarts Hap Hopper, Iron Vic and Gordo. Jane Arden and Gladys Parker’s stylish gal Mopsy first appeared in Pageant of Comics in September ‘47 before getting their own St. John titles.
